Inscription back: Der neue Hauptbahnhof in Leipzig ist der größte Bahnhof Europas. Es münden 26 Geleise nebeneinander ein. Im Jahre 1902 wurde mit den Bauten begonnen. Die linke Hälfte (preußischer Teil) ist seit 1. Mai 1912 vollständig in Betrieb und von der anderen Hälfte der sächsische Teil seit 1. Februar 1913 teilweise. Die vollständige Inbetriebnahme erfolgte 1915. Von den Gesamtkosten – ca. 150 Millionen – trägt der sächsische Staat 50 Millionen und die Stadt Leipzig ca. 17 Millionen Mark. T Co. Trinks & Co., G. m. b. H., Leipzig-St. Nr. 1.
